It doesn't matter who B.Rock Hussein picks as his veep, because McCain will beat him like a dirty rug. You want change? Change is all you will have left in your pocket when gas gets to $8 a gallon. I am a Democrat who will vote for McCain simply because I am for fighting and winning the war on terror, and not surrendering and leaving. I am also afraid Obama is going to raise our taxes to the point of real pain. Higher gas prices, rising food costs as a result, adding in higher taxes and it becomes clear we can't afford his plans for change. It is really change you can't possibly believe and will not be happy about if we fall for his sales pitch. Don't do it. NO-bama! McCain makes more sense on taxes, energy and national security.

It doesn't matter which of these liberal losers (Dumocrappic or Republican) get the presidency; the USA is going down the toilet. You think you have it bad now? Stand by for the big flush! 'Nuff said...

What a sad situation. A high percentage of Republicans vehemently dislike McCain because he is not a conservative. Fifty percent of voters literally hate Hillary and nearly as many find Obama the worst of choices. My vote will be a write-in for Ron Paul.

Michael, with all respect, unless I want to throw my vote away on a write-in, I think my choices for president in November are going to be limited to those whose names appear on the ballot. I also think it would be more irresponsible for me to vote for anyone that might make it possible for Clinton to become president. In my opinion she is dangerous, and I don't think her name on the Dem ticket will strengthen it. There are other potential running mates for Sen. Obama to consider who would not be so polarizing. However, you are certainly entitled to your opinion...as I am entitled to mine.

It certainly is interesting to see how polarizing Hillary is, even on such an abstract question as in this poll. As for Yeti's comment, about voting for McCain, I absolutely cannot believe that anyone who would ever support Barack would even say such an incredibly irresponsible thing.Be assured that in November, every Republican will man up and vote for their guy, and so must we, to end the Bush era reign of terror. I find similar comments coming from disappointed Hillary supporters to be just as ridiculous. the simple truth is that if you could have ever really wanted Barack, you could never vote for McCain. Personally I despise Hillary, and liked Kucinich best, but Ill be voting for our nominee no matter who he picks, in November.

I think it would guarantee the Dems would have no chance of winning. I have supported Sen. Obama since very early in the primary season. However, if he selects Sen. Clinton to be his vice-presidential running mate, then I will vote for McCain in November.
