Regarding Michelle Obama's jacket (Letters, Aug. 12): When someone is as beautiful and graceful as Michelle Obama is, designers want a chance to be worn by her. She is shown each designer's best and chooses from them. It doesn't cost the letter writer anything.
Michelle Obama is a great person, and I am so proud that she is America's first lady. Her work to help our children eat healthy and her work with our returning veterans and their families is just remarkable.
I am so glad that the Obamas are going to be staying for four more years.
