FOUR PINOTS AT FOUR SEASONS IN WAILEA

This first-ever three-day event at the Four Seasons Resort Maui in Wailea and Capische restaurant will feature wine seminars and nightly dinners all topped off with an oceanfront gala under the stars Saturday. Featured winemakers are Gary Burk of Costa de Oro, Webster Marquez of Anthill Farms Winery, Steve Clifton of Brewer Clifton, and Donald Patz of Patz & Hall. Call 874-2201.

KENNY LOGGINS AT CASTLE THEATER

HAPA opens the show at 7:30 p.m. and then accomplished performer Kenny Loggins will return to Maui fronting his own band with a slew of memorable hits from "Footloose" to "This is It." HA'INA HOU FREE TAIKO IN LAHAINA

Enjoy a free performance of Maui Taiko at the Wo Hing Museum in Lahaina from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., then join Lahaina Restoration Foundation at 7:30 p.m. at the Baldwin Home for ohana movie night with two, 20-minute films, "Na Maka O ka 'Aina" and "Ka Wai." KAPALUA WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL

The theme for the 31st annual festival is "Lucky Live Hawaii." The four-day event kicked off last night for pass holders and will continue today with a golf tourney, and Pinot Superstars seminar. Top winemakers will appear in a series of seminars, tastings and evening events, such as today's Grand Tasting starting at 6:30 p.m. Sip from hundreds of top wines, listen to Henry Kapono perform, and savor food by chefs from Kai Sushi, Banyan Tree, Merriman's Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, the Plantation House and Pineapple Grill. 4-H AG AND FARM FAIR AT OSKIE RICE FIELD

Saddle up to the 32nd annual Upcountry 4-H Ag & Farm Fair for a weekend of fun from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow at Oskie Rice Field & Arena above Makawao on Olinda Road. This year's theme is "keeping the spirit alive." Come enjoy ono food, games, exhibits, a rodeo, and 4-H auction, paniolo tent and farm-fresh foods and crafts to take home. Today's music lineup includes Ukulele Pops Band, Uncle Richard Ho'opi'i and ohana, Brenton Keith and His Bag O' Tricks and the Haiku Hillbillies. Get your children all dolled up for the Keiki Cowboy and Cowgirl Dress Up Contest and bring your appetites. For more details, call 572-3545.

ZENSHIN DAIKO 13th ANNUAL FESTIVAL

Maui's exuberant Taiko group, Zenshin Daiko, returns to Castle Theater at The MACC with their 13th annual festival, featuring N? H?k? Hanohano nominated world fusion artists Kimo and Jody Hybrechts of Ranga Pae, known for their stimulating arrangements of contemporary music on koto. Starting at 7 p.m., this year's concert will also feature amazing Toru Watanabe and Michelle Fujii from Portland Taiko. Toru is a folk dance and taiko artist from Akita, Japan. Michelle is known for her innovative fusion of taiko and Japanese folk dance. Zenshin Daiko will be premiering new work, including a solo piece by Artistic Director Lina Tamaye. SUNDAY, JUNE 10

REPUBLIK MUSIC FESTIVAL OUTDOORS

Gates open at 3 p.m. at the MACC in Kahului for the 2012 Republik Music Festival with an all-star line-up including Steel Pulse, Slightly Stoopid, Alborosie, G. Love and Gyptian. Legendary Steel Pulse is the only UK reggae group to win a Grammy Award. Since forming in 1995, Slightly Stoopid has toured virtually non-stop. The concert starts at 3:45 p.m. Cost is $42.50 general admission, and $90 VIP (in advance). Call 242-7469.

4-H AG AND FARM FAIR AT OSKIE RICE FIELD
