Bonifacio Pamplona, 68, of Wailuku, passed away on May 6, 2012 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on September 28, 1943 in Dao Capiz, Philippines.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Borthwick Normans Mortuary, service at 7 p.m.; visitation will be held again on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints, Kahului Stake Center, service at 10 a.m., burial 11:30 a.m. at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery. Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.

Bonifacio was a retired veteran with the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Pamplona; sons, Andrew (Susan) Pamplona, Victor John Pamplona; brothers, Elmer Alcordo, Catalino (Elizabeth) Alcordo; sisters, Virginia (Edward) Soares, LeeAnn (Peter) Kawaa III, Tina Bernadas, Dawn (Manual) Carrisoza Rosales; grand-daughter, Bayley Pamplona, and Grand-son, Moroni Pamplona.
