The power of the buck
By most accounts, Michael Bloomberg has done a good job as mayor of New York City. Wildly popular during most of his first two terms, only recently has a somewhat jaundiced eye been turned on the billionaire turned politician. The bloom started to go off the ’Berg when he convinced the New York City Council last year to do away with the two-term limit for the office of mayor. The council reluctantly did this, despite city voters twice rejecting such a change. Bloomberg promptly announced he would seek a third term.
