Wayam Karja’s “Horizon”
Travel the globe and back without driving farther than Paia on Friday. Paia Contemporary Gallery’s new exhibition of three established artists from New Mexico, Indonesia and Hawaii spans seas and genres: Their diverse work will be on display at the gallery through Jan. 2, starting with an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The show features sculpture by Pascal Pierme of Santa Fe, N.M., and paintings by Wayam Karja of Bali, Indonesia, and Mary Mitsuda of Oahu.
