| | Maui Film Festival at Wailea keeps ‘par-tay’ prices sameJune 11, 2012 - Carla TracyMaui Film Festival at Wailea is eye candy for movie star gazing. It’s also the place to catch the latest screenings of films as well as indulge in culinary parties with gourmet cuisine, top entertainment and fun cocktails and wine.
This year, the cost of admission to these culinary parties will not be increased. While none of them is what one would call inexpensive, it’s still a little easier on the pocketbook. Now is the time to book tickets as the festival starts Wednesday and runs through Sunday.
“We area going to keep special event prices the same through the duration of the festival,” says founder and director Barry Rivers. “They have been, and will remain:
OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION at CAPISCHE? on Wednesday: $125
TASTE OF CHOCOLATE at FOUR SEASONS RESORT MAUI on Friday: $125
TASTE OF WAILEA at DAVID LEADBETTER GOLD ACADEMY on Saturday: $120
STARRY NIGHT MOONDANCE at MULLIGAN’S ON THE BLUE on Sunday: $75
“This is our special Father's Day Surprise to the fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers and fathers yet-to-be,” says Rivers. “Also please note, as always, each special event ticket purchased also includes admission to that night's entire night of Celestial Cinema premieres, tributes and more!”
